I'm back!!!

Hey Everyone - Long time no post!! The past few months have been interesting between switching jobs and also getting back into a relationship!! Although i have not posted on here... I still obsessively read other blogs and various design/fashion publications!!! I have saved pictures over the past couple of months and im dying to share!! But first lets talk about 2012 and what new years resolutions everyone has for this upcoming infamous year!!! I have been back with my boyfriend now for 8 months and have filled out with some love cushion that i hope to lose in 2012!!  I hope everyone had a champagne filled new years and is ready to live life to the fullest!! I have not posted in some time but have lots to share so please check back for some fabulous finds!!! Bring it on 2012!!!

I absolutely love the decorating show called flipping out, Jeff is hilarious

Lately I have been experimenting with country music and I'm lovin it!

Nude or glossy pink... Gotta have that shine

Facebook, I don't even understand the concept behind twitter

Gold watches, silver jewelry

6. Favorite fashion designer/or clothing line?
You can't beat the classic look of jcrew but I have a new obsession with Tory burch

Nooooo ugh

Bobbi brown bronzer in medium

9. Favorite childhood TV show? 
I remember liking rug rats

I have straight blonde hair but I love it wavy when my hairdresser does it for me

I was devoted to working out and dieting... Boy things can change in a year ha

Now without the recession

Thai.

I find myself getting more excited when reading about new beauty products

Some scary documentary about Liberia, I'm just trying to learn something new about this crazy world everyday

Flats please. Or wedges.

Hummus and pita chips or a margarita

Most people paint the trim and doors in their home bright white because that seems to have become the norm. Check out the black trim and door trend. I love the contrast between the stark white walls and the rich dark colors!

Animal Accents

My boyfriend loves to hunt and fish so i might take advantage of his hobby and get some antlers out of the deal! Check out this awesome room with mounted antlers galore! I love the idea of just using the antlers and not mounting the whole animal head. Something about eyes staring at me from the wall freaks me out!

Pops of color!

I like its so cool how they painted the wooden legs bright yellow then accented with a matching pillow! What a sneaky way to add some color.

I always thought if i had a beach house i would paint the kitchen cabinets a pretty robins egg blue color but this pink is pretty cool too! Plus, you can get away with anything at the beach.

Pink walls and a green couch! So preppy but in a sophisticated way!

Oriental rugs are beautiful, no doubt, but this floral runner is awesome!

Bright Bohemian Chic

I still obsessively decorate my future home, in my head, on a daily basis...

Here are a few more decorating ideas i have come across...

I love the idea of matching twin beds in a guest bedroom! I am also obsessed with the bright orange headboards with the nail head design.

Velvet is great but purple velvet is fabulous!!

I have never understood why people spend so much time and money on fancy window treatments. My house is going to have billowing white linen curtains on every window! I heard IKEA has great white panel curtains for under 20 bux a pair!! Here is a little secret when hanging window treatments... hang the curtains as close to the ceiling as possible... it will make the ceiling feel higher and thus the room bigger!

How do we feel about painting the ceiling the same pattern as the walls? I think i kind of like it... especially the yellow and white stripes!

I do not like the word "wide" and refuse to let it be part of my vocabulary but im kinda liking "wide" legged pants and flares! THEY ARE COMING BACK! Lets face it skinny jeans and jeggings made my legs look like plump sausages and it was not flattering! I just hope im tall enough at 5"2 to pull off this flared look! Maybe if i learn to walk in heels i can make it work ;)
